Video lessons
What is amazing about this website is the use of videos. It is not about looking for videos about a specific topic, that's why YouTube exists, it's about using those videos to practice since the content and the language itself.
Videos here are easy to find according to the topic needed. When the video is selected several game options appear to interact with the content. The exercises are mostly composed by fill in the blanks, choose the correct option, complete the sentence and others.
Just as the printables and projectables, video lessons can be edited by using just your account.

Teaching resources are necessary to engage students in the learning process, to increase motivation, and to facilitate teachers' job. Although I have never heard about ISL collective I've searched before for resources online. I use to look for fun and innovative material, printables, and worksheets on Pinterest and TPT (Even though you have to pay for some of the resources in this web, it has free material and lesson plans that are original and useful).
ReplyDeleteI consider that these webs have lots of creative ideas to implement in the foreign language classroom and that we have to start looking for new ways to create our own material and to keep our students engaged and motivated.
