This is a website where teachers can upload and download different types of material for teaching different languages. Among the materials, it is possible to find printables, projectables, video lessons and it is also possible to look for a job in different parts of the world as an EFL or ESL teacher.

By following this link you will find a general view of this amazing website: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWYTwX0GrqU

Printables
Here it is possible to find worksheets and printable activities according to a specific topic, proficiency level and types of students including students with special educational needs or learning difficulties.
After having downloaded the material it is possible to edit it according to the students' needs.

Projectables

These are mainly made of powerpoint presentations. Here games such as jeopardy, guessing, filling in the blanks and others are found. There are hundreds of options that work for teachers to get students to practice specific topics. After downloaded, these presentations can be modified and contextualized.
Video lessons
What is amazing about this website is the use of videos. It is not about looking for videos about a specific topic, that's why YouTube exists,  it's about using those videos to practice since the content and the language itself.
Videos here are easy to find according to the topic needed. When the video is selected several game options appear to interact with the content. The exercises are mostly composed by fill in the blanks, choose the correct option, complete the sentence and others.
Just as the printables and projectables, video lessons can be edited by using just your account.
As its name points it out, this is a collective website where teachers can share their creations, all of that just by using your account.

Here you can find a video tutorial about how to create a video lesson: How to create a video lesson

  1. Teaching resources are necessary to engage students in the learning process, to increase motivation, and to facilitate teachers' job. Although I have never heard about ISL collective I've searched before for resources online. I use to look for fun and innovative material, printables, and worksheets on Pinterest and TPT (Even though you have to pay for some of the resources in this web, it has free material and lesson plans that are original and useful).
I consider that these webs have lots of creative ideas to implement in the foreign language classroom and that we have to start looking for new ways to create our own material and to keep our students engaged and motivated.
Here is the link of TPT (teachers pay teachers) https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/
Thanks for sharing this valuable website, I sure will take a look.
